Afterpay - Integration Request

Hey Guys,

One of my clients has requested that Afterpay be added as a supported gateway for their shop (which means Foxycart.)

One of their reps tracked me down and sent me the API guide but that's way out of scope for what I do.

Could someone look into integrating Afterpay - probably a decent strategic partnership - seeing as that's the job title of the person who sent me that API guide.

    @BamSockPow,

    Thanks for letting us know! We will definitely consider that. Would it be possible for you to forward the email you received with the API documentation over to us? If you also include the AfterPay rep in that email we'll be able to connect with them as well. I can't promise that we'll be able to integrate with the service straight away - but we can take a look and see what might be possible.
  • Can you let me know what the status of this request is please?

    @tyssen,

    Thanks for asking. At this time we still don't support AfterPay as a payment option for FoxyCart.
  • I'm also interested in AfterPay with Foxycart, thanks!

    I have a client interested as well.
    afterpay API here: https://docs.afterpay.com/au-online-api-v1.html#afterpay-online-au-api-v1

    Or one of the other 'buy now pay later' gateways:

    openpay - https://www.openpay.com.au
    zippay - https://zippay.com.au/

    it seems you don't even support the US one - futurepay , which is currently integrated with these shopping carts:

    https://futurepay.com/partner-platforms

    These payments sites are becoming incredibly popular, and most major stores in Australia are now offering some sort of 'buy now pay later option'

    Thanks

    A php interface has been written for the afterpay API:
    https://github.com/culturekings/afterpay

    Does this help the case for an afterpay payment gateway?

    It seems Australian merchants are moving their online shops in droves to the carts that support Afterpay and I'm looking at alternatives for my client as well, as Afterpay is almost an essential now for online businesses in Australia.

    Afterpay is also now available in the US

    Thanks

    @njwfx,

    Thanks for pinging this thread - and sorry for missing a reply to your previous post too. The "buy now pay later" style payment options are definitely on our radar. We don't have a definite timeline for when support will be added at this point - but it's something we have ticketed and will try to get to as soon as our schedule allows.

    Sorry we didn't have a more definite answer for you today, but hopefully we'll have a better answer for you soon.
