FC 2 migration - shopping cart not keeping products between pages

After testing on dummy store, I have migrated live site to FC2 : saladseminars.com
Vanilla FC2 with custom cart include based on tiered flat rate shipping as per test store.

But on live site products are not stored between product pages, e.g.
page 1 - add product - cart shows content correct with product 1
page 2 - add product - cart only shows product 2, and product 1 has gone

I added the sample code line
<!-- FOXYCART -->
<script src="//cdn.foxycart.com/salad/loader.js" async defer></script>
<!-- /FOXYCART -->
into product page

Only difference from test and live site is that live uses Perch and Foxycart addon
But can't see that is causing problem

Help to diagnose and resolve much appreciated - live site is only partly live !

  • It is possible that this is a Chrome problem
    Safari and Firefox seem to keep the cart contents
    I cleared the Chrome cache for the last day
    But problem persists.

    Does this prompt any ideas on what is the problem ?
  • And a Chrome incognito session will keep cart contents between products ....

    @timconsidine,

    Are you still experiencing this? I just tested your website in chrome, and it maintained the products in the cart between adding different products to the cart.

    If you are, could you step us through the exact steps you're following so we can try and replicate it ourselves? If you're able to record a video of it happening too, that would help as well.
  • Hi fc_adam

    On my development machine (macbook Air), yes, I am still experiencing this in Chrome.
    But on some other computers, Chrome is working ok.
    And on dev machine, others browsers work.

    I have rebooted, cleared cache, stood upside while chanting mantras, but the development Chrome refuses to retain the cart.

    I have de-prioritised while I sort some other issues.
    May then make a screen cast
  • This problem seems to have resolved itself
    Maybe the upside down mantra chanting helped )))
    Apologies for disturbing you

    That's great to hear! Although, I couldn't press the Add to Cart in the link you whispered. I'm not sure if that was the intended behavior.
