Shipping easy

Hi there. Does anyone know if there is a way for me to bridge this ship program to foxy to make creating ship labels and such easy?
This is the app and apis... :
In basic terms, can i get this program to talk to foxycart.

It does look like an integration would be possible there based on their documentation - but as far as I am aware, I can't recall anyone having created a connection between FoxyCart and ShippingEasy. By making use of their API's and our webhook functionality, orders can be automatically added to their system so you can print labels - but that connection would need to be built. That would require some server-side coding to build the webhook endpoint to capture the datafeed and send the required information on to ShippingEasy.
  • Hi adam.
Is there a postage/ship service that you know is particularly easy to integrate?

We don't have any direct integrations ourselves at this time, but you could look at which integrates with FoxyCart and does in turn integrate with a number of shipping label printing services. One of those could be a good option for you.
  • Hate to jump in on an old thread, but this is relevant:

Shippingeasy has a seemingly very easy to setup "simple ship" integration - . Are there tools within foxycart to build a simple plugin wherein we could use this?

I'm considering a move of a couple of our stores to foxycart and this would be very helpful. I tried looking for how someone would create a plugin for foxycart but couldn't find anything relevant - perhaps some pointers?

Thanks for posting. For integrating a Foxy store with ShippingEasy, we would recommend utilising our webhook functionality still, although we've launched newer webhooks since my earlier post which you can see details on here.

Instead of working with their javascript widget that you linked to, you would use their API to send completed orders over to their system to handle the shipping labels. It looks like they have official libraries for PHP and Ruby that you could use to help make setting up the webhook endpoints connection to ShippingEasy simpler too.

Does that help? If we can provide any further information, let us know!
  • Thanks for the quick response! Yes, that makes sense and seems fairly straightforward for our needs anyhow. Once we decide on whether or not we will use foxycart, I'll get started on writing something up for shippingeasy...

Awesome! Let us know if you have any questions when you start working on it - or anything else for your store in the meantime too!
