"...error processing your payment: Sorry but this account is not currently active"

Has anyone seen this CC processing error in their logs. A number of customers have been reporting it during checkout. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the cards...the customers report using them successfully elsewhere. But they are failing in FC. Per my error logs, the issue first occurred in September. No error code is returned. The complete message is:

" Error: There was an error processing your payment: Sorry but this account is not currently active (Response Reason Code: )"

    Hi @bushy. Can you whisper us the store domain? That looks like a payment gateway error indicating there's something wrong with the account, but we can look deeper.

    Public update on this: The payment gateway had been disabled (by the gateway), but they failed to notify. It's all resolved :)
