Making whole site HTTPS - htaccess file edits - will they interfere with foxycart cart?

Heya FC-

I'm back with some basic questions that hopefully have basic answers :)

We're switching our whole site over to https and I want to be sure my htaccess rules won't interfere with how we have our cart setup.

Right now our cart is accessed through https://secure.example.com/ through a CNAME entry.

My new htaccess file is tentatively going to read:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.example.com/$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^$ /index.html [L]
Will any of this mess with my foxycart cart?

Thanks for the help!

    @calibereq,

    Good question - thanks for posting. When using our custom subdomain option for your store, that will direct that specific subdomain directly to our own servers instead of yours. With that in mind - any changes you make to your own server, such as you're looking to do with your htaccess file, shouldn't have any bearing on how the cart/checkout functions.
