Subscription Past Due Amount - Customer charged postage twice

Hello,

I have an ongoing issue with a couple of customers being charged extra postage when they go in to update their subscription details on receiving and responding to a Subscription Past Due email.
I would be very grateful if someone could get in touch to clarify what is going on and how it can be sorted.
