Checkout page not showing as secure on checkout

My setup is using FoxEE.

When I run checkout tests in Firefox 3.5.1 (XP), I'm seeing a browser error on the checkout page. The error icon is showing up in the status bar and is a lock with an exclamation point.

Clicking on the icon reveals this warning:

Connection Partially Encrypted
Parts of the page you are viewing were not encrypted before being transmitted over the Internet.

I've checked the source of the rendered template file and do not see any links that should be causing this issue. They all look to be using our secure foxycart subdomain.

Steps to Duplicate:

1. In Firefox 3.5.1, load this page:

2. Add a product to your cart

3. Proceed to checkout

4. The error will appear in the browser while on the checkout template

Any ideas?

Not sure what I changed but this appears to be resolved.

    Please disregard.

It probably has to do with caching your modified checkout template. It has to go through our caching system to rewrite all the URLs so your images, css and javascript will be hosted on our site securely.
  • Actually, the error is appearing on the last page of the checkout process... on the receipt page. Probably because the "continue" link uses an http:// URL.

I'm not too concerned about that though so since the person has already checked out at that point.

    All is good to go!

A link to a non-secure page won't trigger that error, so that wouldn't be it. What you can do in Firefox is load up the page info (Tools -> Page Info) and click the media tab. Then find the media that's loading over http. I'd recommend figuring it out; even if you've already made the sale it'd be better to avoid any cause for alarm. (I also kind of want to know what's causing the problem.)
  • I just sent a test order through and the browser error indication was not on the receipt page.

I made some changes to the template yesterday which probably cleared up the error.

I'm having the same issue, live code at FF, chrome and IE, are saying page is not secure. I can not find anything not linking to the cached images, or has a
the only thing i can think of is i'm using the @font-face. i have found in Chromes debugers these errors

Resource interpreted as font but transferred with MIME type image/jpeg.
cache.phpResource interpreted as font but transferred with MIME type image/jpeg.
    arguments: Array
    message: "doIt is not defined"
stack: "ReferenceError: doIt is not defined at chrome-extension://oangcciaeihlfmhppegpdceadpfaoclj/js/co…"
    type: "not_defined"

IE pops up a msg saying content not secure. if i dont load the content, page displays and says secure. fonts are wrong. if i load insecure content, fonts load, jackiesue font doesn't load right...

only thing i can think of is changing the mime type for the fonts, though i have yet to find one that works. searching says i may have to add a mime type for the fonts to my .htaccess file but i'm lost with this.

i need to get the secure thing figured out as my client is really bothered by the insecure content thing.

@acidic, can you continue on the other thread? Your issue is specific to @font-face support. If you could, please copy your above comment to the other discussion so we can keep them together.
