Subscription update after cancellation

Stay with me on this one...

We've got a user that inadvertently cancelled her subscription on 7-25-09. We then restored her subscription in the FC admin. Now she's wanting to update her billing information but when we she goes to the sub_token URL for her account there is a message stating 'You are about to set this subscription to end on 2009-07-25".

Is there something we can do to reset that? I looked in the "Edit Subscription" for her account in FC admin and there is nothing there that looks suspect. I wanted to confirm that her account won't be deleted if she makes the update.

    Could you whisper us the store domain and her login email? She may have a sub_token for the subscription that was already cancelled. We can go ahead and send her a new sub_token. If she just needs to update her billing info (and not transfer the subscription to a different email address) then she can login using this link:

  • Further research reveals that if a user goes to the sub_cancel URL, exits without doing anything, and then later goes to the sub_token URL to update their information their account is tagged with "You are about to set this subscription to end on <date sub_cancel was visited>."

    Thank you jaushman, we'll definitely take a look. As to updating their information, than can be done with /cart?cart=updateinfo The sub token url is really only needed if they are going to modify what is in the subscription, if they want to cancel or if they need to change the subscription date.

    It definitely sounds like a bug though so we'll try to fix this once we figure out exactly what's going on.

    Going through old tickets and this appears to be a session related thing, not a bug. When you hit the sub_token url it creates a copy of the transaction template for use with that session. If you empty the cart and load up the sub_token again, it should be fine.
