pop up not displaying

I am failing to get my pop up cart to work.

I know the reason, but I don't know how to fix it.

After looking around the forum for a similar question, I checked my source code and noticed that my header code for wordpress is missing from the source.

<?php if (is_page_template('page-product.php')) { ?>
<script src="https://princessgowns.foxycart.com/files/foxycart_includes.js"; type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://princessgowns.foxycart.com/files/foxybox.css"; type="text/css" media="screen" charset="utf-8" />
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://princessgowns.foxycart.com/themes/standard/theme.foxybox.css"; type="text/css" media="screen" charset="utf-8" />

<?php } ?>

Am guessing this is the reason for the pop up not working, I don't however know why this is happening. I am taken on a new page with full standard foxy cart setup.

Many thanks
  • Think I have found the problem..

    I created a new product page using
    Template Name: product

    For some reason the new one isn't showing up in my page, so I can't point a page to this new template

    The quickest fix I think would be to just remove the conditionals and include the FC code in the <head> regardless the template. Otherwise, the issue would seem to be that the page you _want_ the FC code on isn't actually a page-product.php template but something else. I'm not very familiar with modding WP so I can't help much beyond that, unfortunately.
  • I have used the code in the header with the new template as described here: http://wiki.foxycart.com/integration:wordpress

    Creating a
    Template Name: Product

    Then added so code to header.

    Then I went back and tried the product-template.php template thinking that that might have code tried into it somewhere which was stopping it, alas it didn't.

    Seem like I have tried every combination, even tried changing the header script to product-template.php but still no joy.

    I have asked my designer about it so if he can figure it out I will post it up here for future reference.
  • Fixed..

    Lesson to all,

    Always re trace your steps..

    I was selecting the wrong template for my page!

    Haha, I do that sometimes. Spend 30 minutes trying to debug only to realize I'm working on the wrong file. Always an indication that more food, sleep, or mental breaks are needed ;)
