I have two sites that are extremely slow loading, and the issue seems to be with content loading from the secure Foxycart server. Any ideas?

    Hi Joel.
We're on it as I type. We'll likely send an email to everybody affected. Please standby.

    And fixed.
You can expect an email from us tomorrow, but we'll post details on
  • Oh my, thanks guys, you rock!

I was just starting to panic and about to post in the forum!
  • Oh, and that status site is awesome, I'm not sure how I missed it before. I probably would have panicked less if I had known about that.

No, we don't rock, not today. Today we suck. Our maintenance window went great last night, but today (like Thursday) there were a string of issues that revealed further issues, kind of like dominoes.

It's really a sinking feeling, to be honest. Your kind words take the edge off a little, but it feels really terrible to know that we missed an issue that impacted sales for a portion of our users. One thing we can say with confidence is that with every passing day we are getting more and more robust. It's just disheartening to find blindspots the hard way.
  • The status page is excellent!

I was starting the think that it was the size of my images that was affecting load times.
Once again, it's the quality of the service and support that yourself (Brett), and Luke offer that makes FC so appealing to developers such as myself.

Thank you all for your kind words. We take outages very seriously and have been beating ourselves up quite a bit the last couple of days.

As Brett said, we're making great improvements all the time, but still hope to find and fix all issues in our test and development environments long before they get anywhere near production.
  • Thanks for the quick response and fix on this!
