Hiding the category?

I know you can hide attributes by naming them with "h:" to start. But can you hide the category safely this way? Probably not?

We just have some categories set up in a store that are kind of irrelevant to the customers and wouldn't mind hiding them in the cart / checkout / email

Hey Chris. You can do this with some css, though they would probably still show up in the email receipt since many email clients don't support display:none. h: is only for custom values so, as you figured, it wouldn't work out so well to send the category code that way.
  • Cool, thanks luke, it's not the end of the world of course, just one of those little aesthetic niceties we were trying to go for. We may just put it in the display none on that ID for the few clients that do support it.
