  • My lightbox and entire checkout process is not showing the stylesheet, it was working fine a few days ago, so I wonder if it is related to the release. My SSL cert also recently expired, but I thought foxycart also provided an SSL so I was under the impression I didn't need to renew. Let me know if this issue is caused by the release, or due to my SSL cert. Thanks

Hey adriamooney. That sounds like a problem with your SSL cert, nothing to do with our release. Since your domain has SSL when you cache your resources it doesn't cache them on our system but pulls them directly from your site instead. Your CSS is pulling directly from your site here: https://www.power9pro.com/css/foxy_styles.css. If you change that to http and re-cache your cart and checkout in FoxyCart you should be good to go. That being said, you definitely should remove all references on your site to https://www.power9pro.com if you no longer have a valid SSL certificate. It's true you don't need your SSL cert anymore since FoxyCart is handling your payment collection, but that will be for the domain https://power9pro.foxycart.com, not your website's domain. Letting the cert expire is one thing, updating all your links, images, includes and such to reference (and redirect if need be) http instead of https is project in itself.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can do. I would recommend fixing that up on your site as soon as you're able because most customers will bail from a site trying to sell something with an expired SSL cert (as they should).
  • thanks luke. I tried that and now the lightbox is coming up with just blank whitespace inside. what did I do wrong?

Hey Adria, let's go ahead and start another thread so we can keep this one open for those who need help with 070.
    Thanks

Hey guys I appreciate the release and it looks like there are some great advances. I upgraded, and my cart is not showing up in Colorbox but just opening a new page. I'm sure I missed something but I've been messing with it for a while and a glance from one of you could probably tell me what I'm doing wrong. Go to http://www.getiwrap.com/product/iphone-4-covers and click "Buy Now" to see what I'm talking about.

Also, a possible bug: Discount amounts are correct within the cart, but when you move to Checkout they round to the nearest dollar (as far as I can tell from a few different tests). If you use the browser back button, the incorrect discount amount from the Checkout page shows in the cart as well. To test, go to the above link, click "Buy Now", use coupon code "fbQFMB4S", proceed to checkout. You will see the different discount amounts.

    Thanks for your help!

TimC - I had the same problem with no loading. I noticed that the sample code was loading jquery which I was already doing so I took that line out and I still had trouble. Then I moved the foxycart files BELOW my jquery call and that did the trick. So just make sure that you are calling the FoxyCart embed files AFTER you call jquery.

And the foxy folks might want to make a note of this as it isn't terribly obvious at first sight.

That said, I like the new look with Colorbox. It's a big improvement over the old clunky thickbox.

@TimC, you're not using the correct includes to grab the foxy files, you're still referencing the 060 files. You can grab the new links from the "Sample Code" section of the admin.

Luke is the king of rounding, I'll pass this thread under his eyes to get him to take a look.

So what you're saying, Adam, is that you expect me to read the instructions?? ;)

I had taken the code in the change log and put it in not reading that I had to CHANGE code that looked like that to the new code in the sample code section. I thought the code in the change log WAS the new v0.7.0 code. Again, because I failed to actually read the instructions.

I am still seeing the rounding issue, so thanks for getting this to Luke.

Thanks all for your help! The new Colorbox looks sweet.

Oh, I'm glad you pointed that out. I totally didn't even think of that. Either way, check the upgrade notes because that's where we actually try to walk you through the upgrade process, as opposed to just telling you what's changed and what's new.

@TimC: yeah, that's definitely a bug in 070. We're working on a fix. It looks like the store locale information is being used to figure out how many digits to round the discount to but that locale information isn't loaded up in the transaction at the point the coupon discounts are built so the rounding function is rounding to the nearest integer (??!??) instead. We'll get this fixed up. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
  • lukeluke FoxyCart Team
@TimC: ok, it should be working correctly now. Thanks again!
  • @luke It's working for me! Thanks everyone for your help. Love the new version!

Heads up all: we currently have an issue when upgrading and downgrading again which is adding extra entries to your store drop down list. It looks like it's duplicating your store, but it's just adding extra entries to that drop down. We'll roll out a patch as soon as we figure out what's up and how to safely fix it.
  • lukeluke FoxyCart Team
    Ok, should be fixed now.

We just rolled out some bug fixes for the following issues. If you run into any problems related to these changes, please let us know and we'll take a look:
    [ulist]
[li]Locales with commas in the currency were having issues dealing with rounded numbers.[/li]
[li]Locales with commas in the currency not calculating taxes correctly.[/li]
[li]Locales with commas in the currency were breaking the Paypoint gateway.[/li]
[li]Orders with $0 order value were messing up the checkout display if only one payment method option was selected in the store settings.[/li]

Hey I seem to be having a problem with caching my checkout template

I am getting this message when I attempt to cache it
The JavaScript file you attempted to cache at http://cdn.foxycart.com/servantmarketing/foxycart.complete.js returned a status code of 302. Please confirm the URL exists, and the server is returning a successful status code, such as 200

When I remove the complete.js file it caches just fine but of course the template is all screwed up.

(Update: ok nevermind it being messed up I had accidentally taken out the foxycart theme css.
but I am still wondering why it trips up on the js file do I not need it in my template?

    Thanks

Hey oreius. Thanks for posting. We'll take a closer look, but first off, why do you need that file in your template? In previous versions we actually stripped these files out completely because they would cause problems on the cart and checkout templates as they were only meant to be used on your site, not on the FoxyCart side of things.
