Custom Checkout (FF and IE)

I loved the screencast on customizing the checkout page. I was able to make all the changes in a short period of time! Awesome work!

The checkout page is rendering exactly the way I want it to in FF, but not so much in IE.

In FF, the PAYMENT INFO div is lining up with the ADDITIONAL INFO div (perfect!)
In IE, the PAYMENT INFO div is living up with the SHIPPING div (not so perfect!)

Any ideas on how to get IE to move it down?

Sorry for the delay, Barkery. We talked about this one briefly and I think Brett will be looking into it as he's our resident CSS guru. Generally, css styling isn't part of the support we provide, but if we can find a quick answer for you, we will. You may also want to look at or similar sites that may help you navigate through the crazy world of multi-browser supported CSS and the hacks that go with it.

Good luck and please let us know if there's a problem in our markup that is limiting what you want to do with CSS.

    Hey Barkery.
Sorry, I'd missed this one... At first glance, I'd say maybe try playing with the clear on the shipping divs... maybe a clear:both; on #fc_shipping_container ?
  • I have tried many different ways to get the payment div to align to the right of the additional info div for IE7 with no luck.

Has anyone had this issue when using IE7 and a custom checkout field div?

I know at least a handful that are working. What about a clear:left on the custom field container div?
