no email required before checkout
edited June 2008
Is is possible to not have the login/register email field before proceeding to checkout? I'd to load the full set of fields when the user clicks 'checkout'.
Sure think, Luke. The answer is on the wiki here:
From the wiki home page, it's under the "Checkout" section.
By the way... nice name.
Thanks, you too
It looks like the prepopulate option would just skip the email/password "step", but I'd like keep that and have the page look like it does in your examples after you put in your email address.
So the user clicks "checkout" and the full checkout page loads with steps 1, 2 & 3.
also, as a side question, is it possible to add to cart & not open the foxybox?
You mean you want the entire page to load, but still require the password field? Just not hide the stuff before the email is entered?
Or you mean checking out without an email field at all? You could conceivably pre-populate the email, then use CSS to hide the email/password section, but are you sure you really don't want an email field at all? This is, after all, "e"commerce

Sorry that's a little tricky to find.
Thanks, Brett, that's exactly what I was looking for.
