Record of Accurate Credit Card Data

Currently, when a customer places an order using a Visa card, Foxycart records is as a MasterCard. When can this be fixed? This is an issue our client is having to manually fix each and every day in their accounting system.

    I'd recommend that you whisper your store name to @fc_adam so that the Foxy techs can look at this.

    Hey akswhitaker. It looks like your store is still on version 070 which is now almost a year and a half old. There was a bug in previous versions related to the payment information not be recorded at the time of checkout but instead being tied directly to the customer. That means if a customer checks out with a Visa originally and then later updates their card to be a MasterCard, it would show up in the admin and the XML as a MasterCard. I'd definitely recommend upgrading. You can find more information on that here: http://wiki.foxycart.com/static/upgrading
