Buyer receives 2 receipt emails

on this site we have several different seminars and webinars being sold. www dot hcca dot org
When someone completes the purchase they receive 2 email receipts. 1 with the subject line of the template we made and 1 with the confirmation number in the subject line. We don't know where or why the second receipt is getting generated. Any ideas so we can get rid of the mystery email?

    Hey ckinteractivedesign. The second email is most likely coming from one of two places:

    1) A category where you configured a customer email
    2) Directly from your payment gateway.

    It's probably #2 and we always recommend turning off automatic gateway emails as ours have much more information for the customer.

    They had already turned of the gateway provide email.
    I see we did have a category email checked.
