Getting the store ID

Hello guys,

I have multiple stores and the datafeed from all the stores is feed to the same database. I am trying to differentiate between the orders using the StoreID. Is there a way I can get the storeID of the store without actually placing the order and pulling it from the XML data feed.

    Why don't you setup your datafeed URL for each store like so:

    http://yoursite.com/datafeed.php?storeid=1
    http://yoursite.com/datafeed.php?storeid=2
    http://yoursite.com/datafeed.php?storeid=3

    Then just check $_GET.

    What I've found is that this seems to work http://yoursite.com/datafeed.php?storeid=3 but this doesn't http://yoursite.com/datafeed.php?storeid=3&someotherval=1

    Seems there is some sort of Foxy Filtering limiting one querystring attribute.

    @sparkweb

    Thanks a lot for the quick response.
    Well, I am already using that query string to pass some other parameter. So, that option is out.

    Also, I actually dont know the store ID for the new store. I will try to explain the scenario. I use a store which is setup as test store. Now that I have tested the test store which works as desired, I have created a new store with same setup but it is supposed to be live or production store. This might seem a little odd but I do not want to place any test order on this store and want to keep it as clean as I can. If I place an order I can definitely pull the store ID from the XML data feed, but I was eager to know if it can be done without placing the order.

    If you look at the source of your store dropdown in the admin it shows the ID next to each store (the option value). I'll bet that will get what you need.
