Is there any quick way to disable cart and checkout due to storm?

We have a site where the business is now temporarily shut down due to Hurricane Sandy. I wanted to see if there is a quick way to disable the cart and checkout and put a message instead. I guess I can reupload a whole new cart and checkout template but I wanted to see if there is an easier way so I can just toggle it back on after we are back in business.

    Actually, probably the easiest way would be to just remove the ^^cart^^ and ^^checkout^^ placeholders from your checkout and cart templates via the text boxes in your stores FoxyCart administration and in it's place put a simple message as HTML.

    For example:
    <h4>Sorry, our checkout is currently offline</h4>
    <p>Due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, we have...</p>

    So your templates would still hold any customisation you had, and reactivating the checkout would simply involve recaching and resaving your original templates.
