Ship To info not in CSV Export

When I export my transactions, the Ship To columns are blank. Is there a setting that controls this?

    When we first developed that export, multiship didn't exist :)

    No one has requested it yet because, I think, most people interested in dealing directly with that information in an automated way end up using the XML Datafeed. I'm curious, what are you using the information for? Is it an automated system? Would the datafeed be an option?

    We can add it for those stores taking advantage of multiship... could you want to request it here?

  • Ah yes, the datafeed. Seem's to be the cure all. I need to get someone to write me a script to dump that info into a database for our records. At this point, I have no direct need for it yet. Just curious about the big gap in data on the CSV file.

  • thanks luke. yes i have. I've implemented it as well. It placed the entire XML datafeed into a table cell. I'm needing to extract each element and populate the database.

    I've done that a few times, and we've discussed it quite a bit. It's definitely something you could do yourself with a little bit of XML and MySQL know-how, but depending on your needs it can get to be a little unwieldy, since to do it "right" would require five or six separate tables (or something like that).

    That said, if you're interested, you could likely rip out the code from FoxyBack-MODx:
    It does something very similar, I believe. (I could be wrong. Haven't looked at that section in a while.)
