USAePay payment gateway
edited December 2008
Any chance Foxycart will support
? I'm prepared to argue for PayPal, but the client is prepared to push back.
Thanks, guys. Awesome product. Am here because of FoxEE.
Is that the gateway Bank of America uses by default?
There's a good chance we'll eventually support it, but probably not immediately. Please vote for it here:
I'd also like to see USAePay as a payment gateway. My client is very happy with it and doesn't want to change. For now we'll do offline transactions, which could work out fine in the long run.
I did run across this link in the USAePay developer documentation. It looks (potentially) like a really easy way to integrate the USAePay system with FoxyCart in a hurry. It emulates the Authorize.net gateway. Maybe that could work here?
"Migrating from another gateway"
Here's what they say: "We highly recommend that you rewrite your application to use our gateway APIs. In some cases this is impossible and we offer another approach - gateway emulation. We can emulate your gateway request and response calls without you having to change your code. Minimal modification will be required such as changing the processing URL and authentication."
Thanks for that info. Auth.net emulation is certainly a good thing in a hurry.
The instructions for this say you need to 'Change the processing (submit) URL' - would I do that in FoxyCart (in the admin or in the checkout template) or is that on the USA ePay side of things?
It'd be an internal thing on our end. Can you vote for USAePay while we take a look?
