Getting decrypted XML to help debug RC4

I'm using IBM's Domino server, and the "agent" technology that processes the XML feed adds some extraneous text around the RC4 encoded data (MIME delimiters and some other stuff which I think is messing up my decryption). The native language for the agents is Lotusscript (a VB wannabe), but has some "typing" issues with RC4 code that I've copied from a VB source-code site. So I'm debugging the RC4 enc/dec function.

For testing purposes is it possible to just download the unencrypted XML feed info for my account?

Hey gswmark, whisper me an transaction id and I'll email you the XML for that transaction.

My suggestion would be to keep track of exactly what text is being added before and after the encrypted ring stand just trip that out.

Can you send something else to your server to see what, exactly is getting added by Domino?

Also, you may want to look into the settings on the webserver. There might be a way to tell that specific location to use some settings that don't add mime delimiters.

Also, if you have access to a PHP server to play with (even a local MAMP or WAMP setup) you could try the test scripts here:

That will encrypt some XML almost exactly how we're encrypting it, and it's a very useful tool with which to test.
