Setting up Amazon recurring

I have a new Foxycart project I'm working on with a client and they are wanting to use Amazon payments for recurring monthly membership fees. My understanding is that Amazon is phasing this out in July of this year (which is why the client wants to move over to Foxycart), so my question is, when they're setting up Amazon in the Admin area of Foxycart (http://files.smashstack.com/1ljoZ/3ABzeG1g), do we use the following documentation?

https://wiki.foxycart.com/gateways/amazon_payments

I ask b/c I want to make sure this is the proper documentation once Amazon closes their recurring billing and to ensure what we setup in Foxycart for Amazon will continue after the July deadline.

Thanks!

    @flinx777,

    Good question - and you're correct, that's the documentation you want to be using.
  • Hey @fc_adam, so to clarify, come July, that documentation will still be applicable, correct? In other words I want to make sure there's not going to be any interruptions come July with Amazon recurring.

    @flinx777,

    Sorry - I misread your initial post and didn't clarify this in my first post. Amazon Payments isn't being phased out, and is what you'll want to be using moving forward. Amazon are currently phasing out Amazon Simple Pay (ASP) and Amazon Flexible Payment Systems (FPS). In their place, Amazon are recommending users move to Amazon Payments which we support for recurring payments.
  • @fc_adam very cool...thanks for clarifying.
