Can a client remove their CC information that is stored with Foxycart?

One of our customers had the following question "If a client has stored their CC information with Foxycart from a past transaction, is there anyway they can remove it from Foxycart so it's not used for future transactions in the event they decided to not have their information stored?"

My client's concern is that their customers may change their mind to have their CC info stored and if they do, what can they do to have that information removed? Do they have to handle that with their Merchant Account?

    Unfortunately at this time we don't have a way for customers to remove their previously stored credit card information. You could use the API to update the card details to be fake card details - such as 0000 0000 0000 0000 as the card number. It's not a perfect solution, but would cause any future transactions attempting to use the saved card details to fail.
