Google Adwords Conversion Tracking: Confirmation of correct code

Hi team,
I don't really have a question, I just want to confirm that my code is correct. I've used the ^^order_total^^ variable within my adwords conversion code and just want to make sure this will work and it doesn't require any parenthesis or anything. There isn't really a way for me to test it without buying a product myself or triggering a fake conversion. The ^^order_total^^ variable doesn't have a dollar sign correct?

/*  */
var google_conversion_id = XXXXXXXXXX;
var google_conversion_language = "en";
var google_conversion_format = "3";
var google_conversion_color = "ffffff";
var google_conversion_label = "gM0LCLPr0wMQ1YW82wM";
var google_conversion_value = ^^order_total^^;
/*  */
;

;

    That should be ok - but we'd definitely recommend testing it. Even if you just throw it on a test store and run a couple quick test transactions to make sure it works as you expect. It shouldn't include a dollar sign, no.
