Enabling SSO hides the "save my address and payment info for next time" option on checkout

We have a Foxycart project that is using SSO to pass the customer's info to the cart from the site. The problem is, in the process of enabling SSO, the "save my address and payment info for the next time" checkbox is hidden and we don't want it to be hidden.

Normally we see this under "Step 4":

But now that we've enabled SSO, that option is hidden:

Of course the field asking for their password shouldn't be visible (b/c we already have it stored on the site), but how do we give them the option to not store their CC info for future transactions?

    @flinx777,

    Beginning in 2.0, we no longer separate the choice to save their address information and their payment information - it's all a single selection to simplify the checkout process. That means that if you've already logged a user in - they already have an account so their payment information is also already saved.

    @fc_adam where is the customer's CC information stored then? In Foxycart or in the client's Payment Gateway? If they have clients that don't want their CC information stored for future transactions, is there anything the client can do to have that information removed?

    @flinx777, we store CC#s on our end. You can read more about our security here: http://www.foxycart.com/features/feature/security http://www.foxycart.com/features/feature/security/pci-dss-compliance

    To remove a card, the easiest thing is to make a quick API call to replace their CC# with a test card (4111111111111111). This change we made in 2.0 was to simplify the checkout, as Adam noted, but if there's demand, we'll look at adding additional options.

    Do you have a link to docs on how to specifically do that?

    @flinx777,

    You can find information on the wiki about our API here: http://wiki.foxycart.com/static/redirect/api - you'd be looking at the customer_save action.
