It could be in red here: http://wiki.foxycart.com/products:subscriptions

It is hidden here: Subscriptions disable PayPal Standard / Express Check…
This is old I know. I think subscriptions should be considered an product in the cart. It's subscription details should be in the xml similar to product options.
This way a subscription is just a repeating product with additional fields pertaini…
I think that's a really good move. When I upgrade my store versions, I have to test it out anyway, and a small link change is not a large deal. If it makes foxycart faster, I think it's a big win (esp. for folks in other countries).
I've been using some components from the Zend framework quite a bit recently, particularly for XML/Json.
Here's their XML to JSON processor: http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.json.xml2json.html
For 99% percent of my clients, I would only use the default box implementation. Most of my clients want the easiest solution. The 1% might need some custom features that would require a custom box and wouldnt mind the maintenance and setup cost.
Just a heads up, you can use the Zend JSON component without actually using Zend framework. I've been working a lot with XML and JSON feeds and am using just a few Zend components - namely Zend_JSON and Zend caching.
But if you know the box you'r…
The same people returned today. There was another 20 or so failed transactions and around 9 have gone through for .10
Is there anything I can do. It's driving the site owner nuts. Can someone contact me?
I agree that multiple fields would be better. I would rather have one field soon that would give a lot of extra ability. I think it would be crazy difficult to have multiple custom fields. But I think one and a timestamp would be pretty easy. (I wou…
I think 1 and 2 are really important.
#1 particularly. To be able to mark a product as fulfilled, refunded, etc. Google Checkout has a great example of this.
As a programmer, I think #3 would be really hard. However, if we have one field we can …
Whichever implementation you choose is fine w/ me. The above 'module'-like approach seems the simplest. If the required jquery version is present, it uses it. Else it loads the jquery version it needs and keeps it in it's own scope so n…
I am talking to both mfals.com and shipwire. Both companies have been very nice to speak with and seem able to handle what we need.
Shipwire has very good API documentation, and you can setup a free account (which is super cool for …
My js was modifying FC.checkout.config.orderShipping based on some variables. It worked. Now FC.checkout.config.orderShipping seems immutable.
I thought the same thing - "it's working now". But it's not. it only "looks" like it …
Ok. Man thank you guys so much.
Adam found out the deal. It looks like this has always been the case, and no clients ever noticed.
If you want to modify the shipping cost to 0, you must set the shipping cost in Foxycart to 0.
Why? If you us…
Did he find out what happened with this? It's been 3 days now. We really need to know what the deal is.
Foxycart didn't register a transaction, but did an error.
Worldpay did capture the card.
Can someone tell me and your client what happened?
The main question is:
1) Why this transaction occurred at all? It is supposed to be a recurring transaction that recurs on the 19th. Here's the original order id 49914445.
There is supposed to be shipping on this order. But the firs…
We're not receiving a datafeed for future subscriptions.
The original transaction ran correctly. We got the data and ran with it.
But that date was September 21. And it recurs monthly. But if you look in Foxy, there have been no …
I feel I'm not explaining it correctly or you're not understanding.
1a. The person checked out with a subscription through Paypal Express
1b. We received the datafeed perfectly.
2a. The next month the Paypal processed the subscription
